TVR T350 Inspection Checklist

Does this forum contain a checklist for inspecting a T350? If not, can anyone suggest a sensible list?

For Buying a T350 or Owning one?

If you are looking to buy (anyone feel free to add to this list)

• Firstly check the person your buying from. If there a bit of enthusisat who looks after it and

keeps it well its always a bonus.

• Check the HPI (of course)

• Check Service history, is it up to date, is it with a good garage or bobs garage down the road?

• Stone chips are quite common to the front end but i only have a few minor ones at 33,000 miles.

• Check underneath that its all leak free and that it all looks ok.

• Check the running of the engine (bit of a tricky one as it does sound a little like a sewing machine)

• Check all the doors and boot works.

• Check there are no Fault codes coming up on dash. There might be a fault code that come's up straight away when starting that is common.

• Check fans are working and it isn't overheating.

• Check Fluid levels to make sure the car has not been running low on anything.

Can't think of anything else right now hope this helps anyway and anyone else can add or remove if i'm wrong....

If your after a check list for owning there are plenty. Things like oil, water and warming the engine etc...

For gods sake check the oil pressures at idle and when running (both hot & cold)!!
