Has anyone on here bought my T350c?

Hi all. Traded my fantastic (we had many great days out together) T350c for an Aston V8 Vantage in December and was wondering if anyone on here is now enjoying her! She's an 2003, red bull blue and was registered as T3SO K.

Slightly off topic, but how does the Aston compare?

I remember looking at this one when i was searching and was a nice looking car. afraid it wasn't me though.

To be honest Fee 50, there is no comparison. I loved my TVR and bought it to drive as it was designed, not polish it and had some great drives.However now I have driven the same roads in the Aston, the cars are worlds apart. I don't mean just the superior build quality etc, but the way the Aston interacts with the road, steers,confidence in the twisty bits and that second glance back when you walk away from it!

I have had my Tam for just over 4 years and also looking at a AM V8, can I ask where you traded in the T350 as it would be better to part x the Tam instead of trying to sell privatly or seperatly at a dealer.

i don't like the small girly Aston's, i'd have a TIV anyday. (i'm now setting up a strawbale fence for a proper flaming...! )

The dealer took my TVR as they offered me a very good price and to be honest, I didn't want the usual test pilots wanting a free spin and dreamers asking me ridiculous questions! Don't get me wrong, I think there is something very special about seeing a sag or T350 on the road and I even slowed down in my van to let one past just so i could hear it!
The difference between the two marques is for me, the whole experience of ownership and the Aston just makes every journey a joy and the publics reaction is always positive. The TVR was faster etc but it's almost like not going back to the bird with the short skirt and top, when you've had a real classy woman!

I can understand the bit about the better build quality of the TVR but the Aston better in the twisty bits? Don't think so.

Hard to believe but having driven both on road and track, the TVR just feels faster. Get some miles done in an Aston and get back to me!

Ponund for pound, I don't understand the build quality thing either....but I'd be more than happy to have a Vanquish S sat on the driveway.

Post some pics up of your Aston mate!

My Brother (the lucky sod) has had a V8 then a VanquishS, back to a V8 (was stunning in white) and now has a DBS - he loves his Astons.

I haven't seen his DBS yet (only on YouTube) but his white V8 and VanquishS had me drooling.....

Still have to love the T350C with power exhausts though, sounded every bit as good (if not better) than the V8.

I do like Astons, i suspect a lot of people have been making the switch to them as they seem to have been hit harder than most in the 'depression' and can be had for a good price now.

I've been looking at the AMV8 at the moment and I'm tempted (Tax man is being very good to me this year) Wont get rid of the TVR though Both cars I see as a completely different animal and don't see how the two can be compared with each other.
