Where to locate a multiplay CD unit?

Ive a T350 2003 (no boot cover). Im thinking about upgarding the stereo to a multiplay CD unit.
Any suggestions where best to locate the CD unit to minimise cable running and ensuring its out of sight?

Mine sits directly behind and between the two seats. It's then covered by the hanging down cover.... (sorry).

If you've not bought the unit, would a head unit that stores the CDs not be preferable?

CD changers are so 2001. Why not get a headunit that has memory or takes SD cards/USB? Much easier, and the media is tiny.

For CD changer fitment I suggest the boot floor at the very rear with the changer unit facing upwards (standing on its back).

The cubby hole under the stereo on the Tamora/T350/Sagaris is ideally suited for an iPod or MP3 player and it's an easy instal. You'd get a Sony MEX BT200 radio/CD and iPod adaptor for £90-100ish and that has bluetooth built in for your phone and a remote control for posing with in car parks.
