Clutch question

Before contacting the company who fitted the clutch I thought I'd ask on here first to make sure they don't all do it.
If I leave the car for a week, start the engine and then press the clutch there is a destinct rattling sound which goes when I let the clutch up. When its warm the rattle goes but with the clutch not pressed I can hear a slight squeal which goes when I press it.
It did have the rattle when I picked it up and they took it into the workshop but weren't sure what it was and told me to try it and see if it dissapears.

Any ideas?

Shouldn't do it, even if not operated for a week.

Who fitted it for you? Someone who knows tvr's?
(Not saying it's wasn't a good job, just i'd have expected the people who fitted the clutch to have diagnosed the squeal/problem).

I had a very similar noise when I had a clutch fitted to my old Chimaera. Had to be taken apart again by the garage (TVR Indy) that fitted it. Once back the rattling had stopped. No idea what it was all I can say is it shouldn't do it and that you should take it back to get sorted.

It was a TVR specialist, and I have sent them an email. Lets see what they say.
