Just signed on the line for my first TVR!!!

Morning all, hope you're all well!! I'm picking up my first TVR monday... an 05 Sagaris, 5,500m. Having a major service etc before i collect it but just wondered if you guys had any tips or advance before i get going? Speaking the guys at Racing green and the TVR centre they've given me a few tips but I'm sure there's plenty more....Thanks in advance!

my tip, from owning 5 tvr's, start saving for repairshaha thanks!! well the one i got has been in storage for the last 2 years so there's no photo's on the net... i do have a couple taken since but not sure how you post a photo on here? but i saw it in storage and it was in a heated workshop with 20+ other cars, some very very nice cars!!
I test drove the brilliant silver one @ racing green and thats a lovely car if thats any help!!

Congrats. First tip - take it easy 
Dont know what your experience is of performance cars, so dont want to sound patronising, but really take it easy until you are comfortable with what you and the car can do. Oh, and buy some painkillers to help with the ache of the silly grin that you will have for days/weeks/months. And be prepared for people giving you the stare, particularly with the Sag, most people wouldnt have seen one before, so the attention can take a while to get used to!
Hope the weather is fine for your first day of ownership.
There may well be things that you will need answers too, as you get to know the car, and I have always found this a great place to get answers.

Having owned TVR's in various guises for the last 10 years, my advise is to have an emergency fund set aside, without sounding patronising be very careful for the first few months of ownership, as these cars can bite, but most importantly drive it and enjoy it.

I very very nearly went for the silver one at RG, but came across this one very last minute and couldn't resist the blue!! its Cosmos blue (according to the tag ont he key ring but) but looks darker to me?? thanks everyone for the messages, its very much appreciated, and certainly helping the weekend go a bit quicker!!
