Question before buying

Hi

I'm thinking quite seriously about swapping the Chimaera for a Tamora. Before I go and see any cars can anyone tell me if the boot is big enough for 2 sets of golf clubs? I'm sure I'll flamed for asking that

Mousey - I have not tried to get two sets in, but I have got one set in, with a trolley (wheels removed!) with the roof off and in the boot! I reckon two sets mights just go, assuming they are not too big, not sure the roof pannel would go in too! I used to have a Chim, and the boot isnt as big, but fairly big.

Yep, done it with space left to fit 2 small bags for shoes etc.

You wont regret it. Had a Chim for 6 years, loved it, particularly the V8 rumble, but the Tam is so different, in terms of power and handling. After I had been driving the Tamora for a couple of years, I realised that I really missed the noise of the Chim. Sports pipes purchased and the car is complete... noise with improved everything else! So if you get one with just standard pipes, then just hold some of your budget back for some new ones (£500ish)! Have you had a drive of one yet?

Good luck with your search, but sorry won't be parting with mine, hopefully for some time! Take your time to find the right one though, both in terms of condition and the colour (in and out) that you want. Might extend your search, but worth waiting for. Any plans to go to Chatsworth? You will see a fair few there, and sure someone will show you round theirs. I am hoping to get there, and would be happy to..

I haven't had a drive yet, in fact I've only ever actually seen one in the flesh very briefly on the M25 some time ago.

Good advice about waiting for the right one, I rushed the purchase of the Chimaera a little bit so I'm definitely going to wait for the right Tamora.

I'm away for the weekend of Chatsworth so I won't be able to make it, which is a shame really, it would have been an ideal opportunity to have a look at one.
