Sag boot / hatch handle

Sag boot / hatch handle - anyone know where I can pick one up from or does anyone have one they want to exchange for beer tokens?

Yep - Tried RG. They have the handles but not the retaining catch that fit with them.

HHC have them too, although omce again, I've been told that I need a retaining plate which is another £60 ish.

I have been told by a reliable soure that the retaining plate is not needed. Please can anyone confirm either way? I'm just wondering if there are a couple of different types of handle - some which you need the backing plate and others which you don't?

Sorry I was being lazy and I just looked at your pictures and its one of the ones without it.

I have my mates Sagaris at the moment "Mr Orange" which is also one of the older cars without the catch, I did not think it was that bad not having one?

No - the car is one of the older ones (June 05) without a handle.
I'll probably wait until Chatsworth and see what the score is then.

I fitted sag boot handle to my T350.....purchased handle and foam pad from tvr power and used existing back plate.... You just have to drill the existing back plate and use longer bolts.....

This is what I have been told by a friend who has a Sag.
Might just give it a go...

That's a surprise. Last time I asked them they had both and the total cost was around £100 all-in. I guess they must be out of stock.

Got my handle from power think it was about £45-00 give Dom a ring.

Same as goodspeed, got mine from TVR Power, you don't need anything more than the alloy handle and the rubber pad. Mine fitted straight on, no need for any drilling etc.

My Sag has the hatch handle though fitted when I bought the car, the car is at HHC in Hexham, ask Tony if you can have a look to see what you need, he could show the 19" alloys I have on there as well, its in storage whilst Im overseas at work

Now sorted. Thanks for the replies. Sourced from Hexham, cost was a shocking £57.50 for the handle, but nobody else had any in stock.

I went for just the handle and drilled through the retaining catch rather than pay another £50...

Looks great, really easy to fit and took all of 15 mins...
