Tamora Exhaust Silencer Heat Shield

Just removed the plate which number plate attaches for a tidy up,
wondered if someone has resprayed and did u use a heat resistant paint ?

Not sure about re-painting it but somebody on here has a carbon fibre one which looked good when they posted some sneaky pics a week or so ago. Money wise I would hope it wouldn't cost the price of a child/kidney/testical etc as I want one.
