Sounds like a micro switch problem in the door ('LH door open' fault') not sure why this would stop the window working just the interior light and the window will not drop/raise when the door is opened, unless there are two faults and the other is with the window encoder which is also known to go wrong if its gets wet.door is shut ,but after sensor reads door open ,the window wont go up or down .quite funny when its raining as other half gets wet ...........no where to stop on m/way to open and shut door (which seems to fix the problem temporairily)
The window encoder can be cleaned and dried out, the micro switch either needs adjusting or is knackered and needs replacing. Intermittent fault would suggest adjusting it will sort it

The window will not work if the micro switch does not stay engaged once the door is shut, the switch is used to tell the system to drop the window and return it. If the window drops on opening the door and goes back up on closing, the switch is ok, but the switch arm is not being held closed, i had the same on my tam last week, if you remove the door lock cover plate and remove the lock, the switch is mounted on the top plate, on mine the switch arm was missing, i contacted TVR power and they sent me a new arm, bit of a bugger putting the lock back, had to remove the seat belt cover behind the seat to get behind the lock to support it, and use a screw driver down one of the bolt holes to align it, but as good as new now.

If it keeps coming off, unbolt the switch of the plate and fit the arm on to it after re shaping the end that goes around the two locating pins making sure its a snug fit, when puting the top plate back and to keep the arm located, try what i did , putting a screw driver through one of the bolt holes from the front through the plate ,lock and back bracket and keep pressure from underneath to stop the lock from pulling the arm off. Hope this makes sense.
