Can't get in the boot

Just got back from Chatsworth (cracking turn out by the way - I heard someone say 630 +) and the badge button isn't activating the solenoid to relaese the boot lid - nothing, no noise even, nada.

Nightmere, as the remains of the picnic are stuck inside and I could do with seconds for supper!

Anyone know who I could get in the boot?
