No, there is a TVR alarm specialist - he can probably make you another key (the actual key is a Ford Mondeo/Focus one). Carl something - do a search on the TVR forums and you'll find him.Is this a major problem as i would like a spare? (52 plate)

To start mine I put the clutch down, turn key with a small hint of throttle. As soon as it fires I hold the revs to 2500rpm for a couple of seconds in order to kick start the flow of oil to the top of the engine. Then drive off, don't warm the car up on idle as with thick, cold oil it doesn't do the engine any good. Stick to 2500rpm until the oil hits 40deg and 3500rpm until the oil gets to 70deg.
In cold air whilst moving your oil temp guauge is likely to read between 10 & 20 degress lower than normal due to the placement of the oil temp sensor in the cold airflow. You'll see a truer temp when you come to a standstill.

Water Sensor came up on the dash when it started to rain.
Dash says Tamora handbook also says Tamora!!
Steering is lighter than my chim,Clutch is better but a tad heavy and floor pedals get some getting use to.
Difficult to keep revs down on rebuild just 500 miles to go
Seats are supportive,Handbrake easier to apply and the wipers are miles better.
Found one problem got brake judder on the front hopefully disk warp but @17k should'nt be.
Alarm has just gone off in a locked garage.
Got a factory fitted sports exhaust and it sounds fantastic

This is normal, they didn't come as standard until around 2004 IIRC - & TBH they're a little pathetic anyway

The sensors are 'eratic' to say the least. I often get a brake fluid one pop up but the level is absolutely fine

Yup - I had a 500 odd mile running in period on my bottom end and it is hard, especially when others want to 'play'. But just treat it as a forthcoming present

First full day of ownership and yes spent the whole day cleaning it
with the odd break for a test drive for visitors
I'll bor you with a few snaps.
Wheels are a let down don't tell me all spiders nuts suffer like these i thought they were ally looks like steel to me.

Hard work came up a treat needed claying.
Just polish to go tomorrow
Boy it's got presence looks stunning and the soundtrack if the neighbours on the ESTATE didn't know about TVR they dam do now god it's loud
