After seeing Jason's (Yahoo) tuscan, I was very impressed with the running lights; extremely bright and far better than the side lights.

Some emailing later, I had bought 4 sets of lights, courtesy of Jason.

Fitted this weekend onto saggy.

What do you think?

Nice - a little bit Audi like.

I have noticed that my Sag has the HID lights but only on full beam. The lighting used for 99% if driving around in the dark comes from a H7 bulb.

Does anyone know if its possible to swap the lighting arrangement over (HIDs for normal use and H7 bulb for main beam)?

Best bet is to purchase a set of digital ballasts and the HID lamps and fit them to the low beam lights,HID for both low and high is great did it on my Tuscan and will be doing it on the Sagaris.
Should only cost about £100 and a few hours of your time, wiring is all plug in so need to cut any cabling just fix ballast in cubby hole behind headlights if you use some spacers to allow heat to dissipate then you can fit new ballast onto back of existing high beam ballast.

Personally I don't like them. Why not just put the headlights on?

Was looking for something different. They are wired through the ignition and are permanently on whilst the car is running.

I like them. What about making them the full width of the sharks teeth area instead of just half ?

Would be interesting to see some daytime photos and some when ignition is off to see what lights look like when not on.Initially though I like the look.

I like them switched on but would like to see them switched off. Can you tell us where you got them from?

That was my initial plan, however due the the length of two strips (2x240mm) fitted side by side, this was slightly too long. The length was too short to curve round the side closest to the number plate. In the end, the strips were doubled up (as in photos) and fitted using sikaflex.

The lights were purchased from a friend who had them imported from Japan. Will find out more and update asap.

Some more pics: day shots and shots with ignition off.

Views welcome.

I think they are great Neil !!lick
See tuscan below for different option
Soon all cars by law will have to have RL's fitted as standard ,so its a good upgrade for any car.

I quite like them. But I'm more troubled by the question: "Do you have a fridge and ice machine in your immaculate garage, or a Sagaris in your kitchen?" Either way, are you looking to adopt? We're pretty clean and neither of us drop oil... wink
