Boot lock mounting broke

Hi all.
Whilst changing a brake light bulb on my T350 I noticed the screws holding the boot lock were almost hanging out! I took the out and applied a little thread sealent to keep them in.
The boot then became a sod to open and close dispite trying to adjust the excentric pin numerous times. On closer investigation i noticed the actual mounting for the boot catch had broken away and was only held on on one side.
Could anyone recommend the best glue to try and stick this back together? It has come off at the top and the left hand side (looking from the rear). If you hold it in place it feels under stress so i assume thats why its broken off.
Any glue advise would be appreciated!
