Tamora Removable Seat Base?

Do Tamoras have removable seat squabs/bases? I tried one recently and as I'm just over 6'3" found my head hit on the roof when it was up, maybe it'd be better with the base removed? Is it uncomfortable with it removed, and if so has anyone made a thinner seat which gives a bit more headroom but is still comfy?

I'm 6,2" and I have had mine firmed up.
The seat base has had extra webbing so I can now sit in there if needed at a track with a lid on & the roof up.(with the pad removed of course)

That sounds pretty good - when you say firmed up, do you mean put a thinner but firmer foam in the base or something to give some more headroom?

Yes they are removable. I had a thinner base made and also still took it out for track days and long trips with the roof off (to cut down on buffetting).
