The time has come to say goodbye

After a very eventful journey over the last year with my T350, the last 5mths being trouble free it is time to say goodbye.

2 reasons, I am a Porsche man at heart and while i love my T350 the wife hates it and really dosnt enjoy going in it, which makes it a luxury for one.

The other reason is that my 1958 Porsche 356 vintage racer is nearly ready to go back on the road and i am going to give that a go as a daily driver and cannot justify 2 lovely toys.

I know i will miss the TVR and i still think that is probably the maddest and prettiest car i have ever owned, so fast and real seat of the pants stuff, basically a real drivers car.

As you all will know the car has had a lot of money spent on it since i have owned it, basically these cars need to be driven and when they are used just as fair weather weekend cars they tend to start going wrong.

When i bought her she only had 9000 mile on the clock, I have used her every day and put another 8000 mile on her.

I have upgraded the clutch, radiator, shocks(Nitrons) etc and it drives like a TVR should.

It's a shame you are saying goodbye to your TVR. I know you enjoyed the drive and the contrast with your porkers.

Thanks ed, I think you are right, there will be regrets, and I may well wish I had not sold, but the wife wants a boxter and Ive got the 356, so just can't justify me having two toys and her just one, do the tiv has to go.

Pic of the 356 how it used to look, and after it had been stripped and during prep, Ir will be sprayed black with Fuch wheels and bomber brown distress leather interior, I hope you Tiv fans approve.
