Guys looking for a bit of advice,

am looking to get a tiv 350 over the next couple of weeks.

just really trying to find out any common issues or faults with the cars (apart from the usual TVR reliability) - is there anything to look out for on cars etc?

Best thing to do is have a read of the forum or use the search button to be honest, reliability/issues seem to be discussed every few days - either have a browse or search for terms such as thinking, issues, reliability etc! Good luck! Dom

Also have a look at the Speed6 forum as many of the potential issues revolve around the engine. Don't be put off though - fantastic cars if you get a good-un.

I have one and Main things i have found is
-To get it serviced regular.
-If you ain't sure what your playing with under the bonnet leave it to the experts as it will be an expensive mistake.
-Use it as much as possible don't let it stand to long as they ain't a big fan.
-Warm it up EVERYTIME no if's no but's! Plenty of information on here about the warming procedure.
-Buy the best you can get - Don't buy one from just anyone/anywhere make sure there a fanatic, Service history, Make sure they look after it.
-Look for Re-built engines if possible. Not hugely important because around late 03-early 04 the speed six engine was improved. But finding a recently re-built engine may save you some penny's.


Main Thing is enjoy your Tiv when and where you can and enter a very exclusive club.
