Sagaris stuttering and running really rough.

As the post says really! After about 2 hours of driving (mainly a + b roads)not stop start traffic jams, The sag started to hesitate and stutter! as though it was about to run ouyt of fuel, or as if there was a fuel blockage, I had over half a tank of fuel so that wasn't the problem! I was expecting it to cut out completely as it was getting so bad! It even felt like it was only running on a couple of cylinders, Managed to stumble to my parents house which was only a couple of miles away, left it parked there for a couple of hours and hey presto when I drove it home for 10 miles or so it was back to normal! Any ideas on what it may of been, any comments very gratefully received.

could be a crack in the 'big fuse', which closed up then the engine bay cooled off.

Yep could be fuse in passengar footwell, but could be a bad earth which confuses ECU
Best thing to do is pull over in safe place then slowly switch ingnition off, leave 2-3mins then 'slowly' switch key through to start to reset ECU to get you going
