I'm looking to buy another T350 but can't find any in colours I really like. So I thought about maybe buying one and having it resprayed in maybe a pearlescent from the lamborghini range i.e. Yellow/orange/white. What's the general consensus, good idea or a definite no no?
Might be worth taking photos (ones that have the date printed in the corner) so that you can demonstrate to a buyer that it wasn't re-sprayed due to an accident. And to post photos here when it's done!
Good to get what you want and a nice fresh paint finish but could bad from money point of view as a decent respray is not cheep and by doing so, you risk de-valueing the car if going away from the original colour.
I think it's a good idea, i'd like a re-spray at some point and the Lambo white is exactly what i'd go for. As mentioned above though take dated pics and perhaps mid re-spray to prove it wasn't damaged prior to the paint job.
