Carbon cans on a sagaris

Had an interesting chat with heath from x works Tvr up in kirkham re the possibility of putting some carbon cans on my sag! As the cans are somewhat shorter than the original sag exhausts(and would look a little odd) he reckons he can somehow make them look the same length as the originals with a bit of his ingenuity! He is also going to sleeve them To hopefully wake the car up a little, as it is too muted for my liking! I was following a tuscan with sleeved ccc's for a couple of hours on the way to the chatsworth meet and can honestly say it was one of the nicest sounding exhaust notes that I have ever heard! If still not happy may go the de-cat route, just a bit nervous about losing any power!. Will let you know the outcome.

The standard cans on mine are a sleeved version and I thought they all were,the large rear box deals with the silencing not the cans.

There was a Jag racing green Sag outside RG that had carbon cans on. Looked slightly strange as they stuck out an inch or so over the diffuser.

Hi mate,

I have had mine De-catted and its still a bit too quiet!

My next move is to remove the rear silencer/splitter box and replace with straight through pipes into original cans I am loathed to replace the rear cans with anything else as They look just perfect in my opinion.

I could be wrong but I thought that De-catting gave you a small increase in power? I will let you know as when I have finished all the exhaust mods I will put it back on Charlies rollers.

we had the straight pipes instead of the box with and without cats in and its very raspy (more then deacts)
pops and bangs are ok but its not the best setup
