We were wacking it and it made no difference it was creating a vacume which my man said it must be buggered/blocked

Hi you two, just got a switch from power but it has wrong connector on it.
Do you know if the two blue and two green and black wires can be-connected either way round.
I'd just say to Graham I'm not going to polish it which ever way round i fit it!
Just re read this,i'm talking about the trinary switch(oops!)

Yep - I had the same the other week with the new Trinary switch. I ended up cutting the wiring to pieces and re-soldering it. I don't know about the blue and green wires so I just soldered them the same way they'd come off. If you've already hacked your wiring (like I did) before I thought about how to rewire them, all the wiring has some very small writing on it. If you match up the writing, you can see what you hacked off where on each of the wires.

The existing switch has two identical blue wires and two identical green with black trace,it has one terminal marked with a number 1.The new switch has same wires and one terminal marked with a 2.
None of the other terminals a marked and i'll check again but none of the wires seemmed to be marked!

Just thought i'd let anyone know who's interested, that the trinary switch wires can be connected either way round, as long as its blue to blue and green and black to green and black .
