Sagaris Idles at 2500rpm

Strange fault, enroute to Knockhill today stopped for coffee after about 1 hr driving. Car running well but as I pulled into car park noticed car was idling at 2500rpm. Blipped throttle couple of times, felt accelerator pedal by hand, no change.

Switched car off for 30 mins, on starting exactly the same. Drove another 20 miles, stopped for some V-Power and on strating all was well again. Tank only 1/4 empty, it was an unusually hot day (for Scotland) but concerned me enough to renew my RAC recovery membership.

All OK now it seems, any ideas what woulc cause this. Car has done 500 miles since last interim service.

My T350 done the same over in France last year, never amounted to anything.
