T350 Engine Mounts

Hi

I have had my T350 for around 18months now and am on my 3rd set of n/s engine mounts due to exhaust heat.

Does anyone know of an upgraded version that they can recommend or know of a cure for this?

I believe TVR Power do an upgraded mount for this problem for the Sagaris, I don't know if the same mount would fit the T350 or there is a specific heat resistant mount for the T350? Give them a call - Ray or Andy in parts should be able to help you out.

Forgive me jumping in. How do you know if your engine mounts are past there best?

When mine were on the way out I got a progressively longer rattle when starting the car from cold - sounded like exhaust on chassis...

De-cats fixed it on mine along with a bit of extra heat shielding wrapped around them.
