So I've bought some of these together with springs off Ebay about a weeks ago.
I emailed the seller to get a delivery date and he comes back saying that Gaz are short of TVR shocks and he'll try again in about a week.
So is this guy a muppet who's got a mate working for Gaz who sometimes gets TVR shocks? Or is there a world shortage of these?
What's the consensus here?
I reckon the guy should have a stock to sell before he takes an order.

OK - anyone with Golds remember what stiffness adjustment they're running front and back on a Tam?
I've heard that Nitrons are great for track use but not needed for road use.
I like the rebuild element to Golds.
Theoretically they should last for years as long as rebuilds are fairly cheap.

I've got Gaz Gold on my Corrado and I can't say I'm totally impressed with them to be honest. Especially as one damper went soggy within the year.
If I were spending the money again I'd go for KW Variant 2 or 3. Mainly because their Corrado kit was actually tried on a Corrado. Although, to be totally fair to the person I bought them from, my Gaz Gold setup was a custom job and was not sold as a Corrado kit as such.
But back to TVR, I would say that Nitron have a superb reputation in TVR circles and are the suspension of choice.

On the road I run 5 front & rear.
Nitrons are very good but are they worth double the golds?

Sorry guys, we are selling 5+ kits a day for TVR and Gaz are doing their best to blitz the orders over the next few days by putting more bodies on building the backlog.
I thought we were in recession !!!
BTW, just sold the 1400th TVR kit to Dan Taylor.
