The search is over! T350T on my parking space! Thanks PH.

Dear all
Finally done it, almost 3 years after first making the decision and after about 2 months of looking for the right car.
I've bought a wonderful 2005 Targa in Spectraflair silver from another PH'er, who was a real pleasure to deal with.
The car will take getting some used to, but it is the right decision, I am gelling with it nicely already and it "fits" me. I am still controlling all sorts of paranoia that threatens to bubble over though! Constantly monitoring gauges and temperatures, clenching buttocks over speed bumps and worrying everytime a car gets close. I'm even trying to avoid opening the doors too often in the completly idiotic attempt to save the buttons from wear!
The car behaved impeccably on the long 140 odd mile drive home. I hit a variety of motoring conditions and the car was just great! I love that engine. My first impression is that it's a bit lazy but when singing, it's a real joy. The car has standard exhaust, but it's still fairly loud!
The T350T is to be used as the "daily driver", even though I don't drive daily. It'll be used pretty much for all my driving needs. To make sure it can deal with London's traffic I'll probably have the Sagaris' cooling modification added to it - let's see.
I am going to see STR8SIX next week when I will have had enough time to run it and list any issues or questions I might have.
Really going to miss my wonderful, characterful 944 Turbo Cab though, but everything must come to end sometime I guess. I wish I had more spaces!
A thanks to the forum for all the help! I bought Graham's Sagaris manual yesterday and will have a good read of it soon, even though I am a mechanical numpty.

Congratulations! I'm 5 weeks in and I have to stop myself going outside to look at her and just popping out for an hour (every hour!)...
I bought mine from another PHer in Cambridge and he (and his very convincing Sag driving friend!) was a really helpful chap who obviously wanted his car to go to a good home.
Your not alone in the mechanical numpty group but with Graham's manual, the helpful folks on here and on the CC pages you should manage OK.
I'm still in paranoia mode too but I'm told this goes soon enough!

Cramorra, yes, it does have the Tuscan seats. Personally, I am quite grateful for that! I have a bad back and it certainly helps keeps me as comfortable as possible given the firm suspension.
Tailslide, thanks for welcoming me to the flock as "bonfaide"! I am looking forward to meeting Jason and having a good dissection.
Dinks, right colour (and interior even, I think!), but not the right wheels.
Lovely car. Drove down to the coast yesterday and with the exception of the LCD giving me space invaders instead of the right display temporarily (I just restarted the car and it was fine), it's been flawless. Long may that continue!
Any tips on how to get that slam in the back when you hit the go pedal? Still learning where the car has the most poke... With my previous daily driver, I held the revs at 4000, then pushed throttle to floor, waited a second and then kaaablam!
The little I have driven this car seems to indicate that isn't the way to do it. Thus far, my experience has been one of gathering momentum as opposed to balls out acceleration. Need to get out into the country-side and have a nice (legal
) play.
