I'm obviously meeting the wrong women

At 50 I've decided to start looking for a women again. I have no trouble with taking women out, but when they hear that I have a TVR the relationship falls apart. So I decided not to mention that I have a TVR in my quest and have got on very successfully with one women. It seemed to be going very well and I thought hey, brill, but unfortunately she turned up at my house the other day and noticed the TVR in the garage, she said that will have to go, it's that or me, the relationship ended there and then, Oh well.

How odd. Joking aside, what exactly is the problem with owning a TVR?

I'd say you certainly are meeting the wrong ones!

What you need to do is be assertive, y'know, let them know you're a no-nonsense kind of guy. So when the next one proclaims "it's me or the TVR", run her over with the TVR and leave her mangled corpse at the end of the drive as a sort of scarecrow for others of her type.

You can also make the jokes about knowing good bodywork when you see it, you like it that she's a bit of a go-er, especially when you give it some stick....blah...blah...blah!

I can empathise with that - my missus calls the Tamora 'your other woman' and complains that I 'spend more time with your other woman than I do with her'!

She doesn't mind, really, it was her who organised a tour of the factory in 2002 which was the first stage in turning the dream into the reality.

I genuinely have no idea why people find it acceptable to demand stuff like that. It's your car, you paid it with your own money before she was around, she can have any car she likes and can afford herself - what's the fking deal? Can anyone enlighten me?

Strange - why would they care if you have a toy car tucked away? The only reason could be that they have other plans for all your time and money. There are women out there who enjoy cars and will take pleasure in motoring with you, even if you're really ugly

BTW - I see from the original post that you're looking for 'women' and not 'a woman' - this could cause problems sooner or later
