drop down face plate stereos

Looking for advice please on the compatibility of single disc drop down face plate stereos in T cars. Does the face plate interfere with the tunnel when changing a cd? in fact, is there room to actually slide a cd in/out? Thanks

Mine came with a drop down face stereo though considering changing it as its broke. Useful for radio when in traffic!

You can get CD's in it though no probs

Mine too came with a slide down (automatic)front face- works no problem so long as you don't try to put your hand in the little cubby hole on the transmission tunnel when you switch off

Same here, no problems with slide out/flip down face of my Alpine.

Just be careful when you're fitting one though. It's easy to catch the leather on the centre console in front of the gear leaver with the metal edge under the front of the stereo.
