Views on Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta tyres

Has anyone got any experience with the Vredestein Ultrac Sessantas particularly on a Sag,have been reading some good reviews on them but dont really want to spend the money and find they dont suit the car.Have always used the Goodyear Eagle F1s to date on the Tuscans and Sag,nothing against them although they do seem to tramline badly.Any views greatly appreciated.

No experience with them myself on tvr's, however a friend of mine runs them on his 450bhp evo6 and absolutely swears by them.

They should hold up slightly better than the Toyo T1Rs / GSD3s when really pushed as they're not quite as soft.

Infact, I've not heard anything bad about them from people i've spoken to directly.

Smithy and Jon thanks for your replies all the reports seem good but would be interesting to hear the views of those who have tried them on the Sag/T350 etc

I`ve a set of these on the Sagaris and I`m very impressed by them.

I don`t do track days (and even very agressive driving) but I felt the dry grip is better than the F1's they replaced. Certainly the F1's would let go in 1st and 2nd quicker than the Sessanta's.

The odd day I`ve had them out in the wet/damp they appear to hold the road very well (but I wouldn`t attempt to hard accelerate in those conditions anyway) so I can`t comment on the difference between them and the F1's.

I`ve put about a thousand miles on them and they still look like new!
