Hi all just got back from Le Mans,the 350 performed fantastically,but for one nagging thing,THE BOOT RELEASE stopped working.Complete pain every time we needed to fill up with fuel.
I've tried re setting the lock with the Key fob's that's not worked!!!
Just wondering if anybody has any experience of this problem and if there is a quick fix??????

I've had a world of hassle with our boot release; more than happy to help with suggestions!
Could be:
Faulty earth back to the door ecu (which controls the boot release)
Faulty door ecu
Faulty alarm ecu, or supply fault from the ecu
Faulty release switch
Rubber mount on back of badge has fallen off; meaning no contact with the switch
Faulty solenoid
Solenoid 'sticking' - this is the most common issue with ours; it just seems to get stuck if not used for a while. Only solution is to gain access to the solenoid then use a 9v battery to 'wake it up'! Very bizarre!
Ours was malfunctioning so often I fed another supply (from the cigar lighter)to the solenoid, hooked up to a push button next to the ashtray which isn't hooked up to the door ecu; bypassing any gremlins from there!
If I were you, i'd start with unplugging the door ecu (passenger side), leaving it for a few minutes then plugging it back in; this is by far the easiest first test. After that, i'd check the rubber grommet behind the boot release badge is still there and making contact. If that's still there, start working down the list above!!
