Hi there,

I'm looking to buy a Sagaris in the near future and have the following two cars at the top of my list:

They've both been advertised for quite a while, and they're both towards the more expensive end of the cars on offer (something to do with the colour, no doubt). Does anyone have any info about either?

Secondly, I noticed that one has plastic indicator stalks, while the other has alloy. Can the plastic ones be replaced easily? I had a cursory glance at a few parts websites, but no joy. Pictures below:








Lastly, is anyone thinking of selling or aware of any others up for sale that aren't listed in the classifieds. The larier, the better!

Good choice of colour (see my profile).

The alloy indicator stalks are simply covers that fit over the plastic stalks. They are however as rare as hens teeth to get hold of - TVR breakers usually your best bet.

I don't know either car personally, but the one at Hexham Horseless Carriages, belongs to "Unrepentant".

A word of warning however. I believe only 3 Sags left the factory in this colour (Cascade Indigo), and I know of 4 which are this colour now. Mines the original colour, so there is a good chance that one of the cars you have listed was originally a different colour.

Also, be wary of any stone chips / damage etc. Paint is VERY expensive (£800 ish per litre!!!!!!)

I've had my Sag now for a few months and am loving every minute of it - especially in such a stand-outish colour.

Hi Matt

The one at HHC was mine. Although it has been on here for a few weeks it was sold sometime ago and the new owner was due to collect it yesterday. The pictures do not do it justice but Tony has issues with technology. I only sold it as I am moving to the USA and can't take it with me.

Castle TVR have a very nice Chameleon Green Sag in at the moment as well, not sure if this colour is loud enough for you?

Yeah, I did see that. I think the main problem is that almost every colour has to be seen in the flesh to fully appreciate. I need to start visiting dealerships, otherwise the summer will be over by the time I actually get the car!

Best place for indicator stalk is probably one of the breakers / scrap yards that deals in TVRs. I got a set for my Sag from Douglass Valley. Think they were £100+. They are the same on Tams and T350s. Don’t know if they are that easy to remove or fit. I got the whole stalk including the original plastic bit underneath. Couldn’t get them apart, so ended up having to die the cloth trim bit as well to match my interior, fortunately light coloured on the stalks I bought, and black in my car. Not that cheap, but makes the interior IMO anyhow.
