Sagaris without air-con

If you live somewhere without any traffic or roadworks then do it! However, if you do could you let me know where and I'm moving there! Seriously, as Zippee said air con is a must, my T350 runs very hot indeed and the air con is actually pretty good....

You may be suprised .... It was a 2K option, its heavy and it does not perform well. Try a search on the AC problems on PH.
A Sag is a fun car for many and a fun car with windows.
I've owned a T350C and a Sagaris, both without AC (owned a Sag with also). Sorry to fly in the face of the majority, but I would suggest its not essential.
Also consider the cost the car is being advertised at vs those with AC. I'm sure there will be sufficient difference in the price to allow the retro fitting of AC that actuallly performs rather than TVR AC.
ok, so thats the other side of the coin..I cant remember it being that much when we bought our Sag, and the Tuscan had it too...never had any problems
Im afraid im one of these moaning British people that dosent like hot weather, Ive have 1 car without it since Ive been driving (an Elise) and that was terrible the year I got caught on the way to LeMans in 30deg heat !
Me and the GF do about 30K miles a year and use all our cars daily - so would never buy one without it....nothing worse that turning up at a clients on a hot summers day, and having to put a shirt and tie on in the carpark, as its too hot to travel in the car in one LOL

The two racers on here say they don't need it - probably right if the car is used for open road blasts or on the track. However, anyone looking to drive to work on a wet day (misting) or a day like today really needs aircon. Not to mention trying to get your lady to sit in the passenger seat, esp with the common black leather interior. My aircon worked fine for the 5 years I owned my T350, soo much more civilised than my old Chimaera (aircon option on the Chimaera/Griffith was a waste of time).

I've got a Tuscan 2S with air con and have just bought a Sag without it. To be honest, the air con is so appallingly bad that in any semblance of heat it just blows hot air at you. I never, ever use it. If it's hot, put the windows down.
An aftermarket aircon unit, maybe if possible, but the factory one - no thanks.

Ben - your aircon obviously needed fixing (or installing correctly in the first place knowing TVR). Mine worked so well and I had to turn it off when it got too chilly, it even iced up the heater control unit which lives under the dash in line with the cool air (no warm/cool air mixing on these cars).An aftermarket aircon unit, maybe if possible, but the factory one - no thanks.

I feel that Air-con is fairly essential, I`ve driven lately with the air-con on most of the time (again it needs re-gassed to get the ice-chiller effect) but the heat in the cabin is too much for me..
But again its a fairly personal thing, some people can stick the higher temps without bursting into sweat but I can`t..
