I finally have to face up to it, the Sag is gone. The cheque arrived this morning so no denying it anymore!

For the first time in 20 years I don't have a fun car in the garage.

Big thanks to Tony at HHC for supplying the car and for selling it for me this time. Glacial depreciation too. Bought the car at 6k miles, added another 7k in 14 months and got back close to 90% of what I paid.

It was quite an emotional moment when Tony dropped me at Hexham railway station and I stood and watched (and listened) to him drive away in my beautiful beast. I hope the new owners enjoy her.

Hi Paul,

Did you not think about taking it over as a show car? - I know the mileage would be limited but it would be a incrediable car to have over there.

I will be probually moving to the US soon and I was thinking about taking mine over. The roads in the US are terrible so I was thinking that it would be good to have it for show and track.

Thanks guys. It just wasn't practical to take her to the USA. I didn't fully explore the show car route as I was put off it and to have the car and not drive it wouldn't work for me anyway. I would love to have taken her as my American friends swoon over the photos and I know it would have been a hit over there. Having said that, as blackiepaul says, the roads are so bloody awful, especially in the midwest, that I reckon I'd lose the splitter in a week!

The latest Viper is gorgeous in the flesh but initially I just want to have 1 car and so it needs to be a little bit practical. I was going to go for the Challenger SRT but now I'm moving towards the 6.2 litre Camaro 2SS.
