Battery level

Hello all - very stupid question, so hopefully an easy answer for somebody.

What should the battery level be on the LCD readout?
I mine is around 12 - was wondering if this is healthy or not.

I think mine reads about 13.5 when driving.

Mine is around 13.5-14v when driving. I had one fail on me and that was reading 12v - turned out to be a dodgy alternator. Get it checked ASAP if I were you.

As others have said 13-14v under load when driving. 12-12.4V without engine running, dropping to
8.5-9V whilst cranking over to start the beastie up

Like the others, 13.4v while driving and approx 12.4v on idle. Would def check it out if showing under 13V while underload

Sounds ok.
Mine is around 12v when first starting...by the time I have finished driving it was up to around 13v and slightly above. Will start it up again on the weekend...hopefully the battery is holding charge or I probably need a new one.

Is all ok with the engine. I know you had concerns about smoke and puffing nosies when cold.

The engine seems fine...will know more after the service though.

There is a little smoke on startup, but this goes aways after a the intial startup. The puffing sound is not really a puffing...I listened to a few other Tams on youtube and they sound very similar.

I wrote a really long reply, but then the site crashed!

Anyway, I took the car out on the weekend and LOVED IT...

The car sounds and looks awesome and I love the fact that a lot of people just don't know what the car is! There aren't a lot in London.

Anyway, I am going to spend some money on her now, getting her back to tip top condition.

Full 12k service, and I am going to get the interior reconditioned as well.
