drivers wing mirror

evening all,

i want to replace my drivers wing mirror glass as it has got slightly damaged,i dont need the whole unit just the glass.

its 2005 tam and has heated mirrors, i cant seem to find anywhere that does a heated replacement glass,racing green only have standard mirror glass.

does anyone know where and how i can change this?

How do you remove the old mirror glass and fit the new one? I can't seem to get in?

hi,

i found that it came out with ease.just gently push the ouside edge and it will pop out of the locating holes.

then just gently pull wires off the back.

went to vw and ordered a new one part number...v536 857 522 a.
