T350/Sagaris Dash Problems

I have recently bought a 05 T350c, almost everything's perfect with it and really loving the car, apart from the dash lights. When the head lights are put onto dipped/high beam the green LED's around the dials turn off (fine on side lights) and won't come back on until the engine has been stopped then restarted even if I turn the lights off. Have tried everything with the settings and stuff and nothing works.
Also how many 'normal' display screens (that tell you speed, revs temps and stuff) should there be? As I've only 2, maybe linked to first problem?

Has it got the normal headlights or has it had a xenon conversion ?

If you cycle through using the buttons on the wheel i think there is 6 displays before returning you back where you started.
As for the light problem you may have a faulty pod.

The car has got xenon's fitted don't know if they were standrd or not.

When i cycle through with the buutons on the back of the steering wheel the display only has 2 pages, there must be 4 'missing'.

There is a problem connected between the pods and xenon lights. I'm not sure exactly what it is, but if I recall correctly some sort of surge when the headlamps are turned on, seems to blow out the pod lights. I guess some technical guru will come along and point you in the right direction.

It is not an uncommon problem though.

Correct it's the same problem I've read aboout which has stopped me fitting them on mine.
Hopefully Shep will be along later as he has just fitted a set in his Tam.

Theres no way around this problem I have changed my ballasts for slimeline low noise but didnt make any diffrence, I have wrapped them in silver foil ..no diffrence .........I have wired the ballasts direct to the battrey (using a kit you can purchase).......still not worked. Spoke to Martin at RG he dosnt know of a solution TVR were looking at this he said before they closed. What I do know for sure is if you turn your lights on before starting the car then you will have no problem with the green LED on the dash.

Turn on the lights before you turn on your ignition and start the car. I remember reading somewhere this can sometimes get round the problem.

Thanks I'll try turning the lights on before starting the car when I'm home next thursday, I have noticed that the dash lights all work correctly when the engine is not running. Is there any way i could remove the dash and just wire the dash lights into the side lights so there's no 'two step dimming' that in theory should solve the problem?

any thoughts on the other problem with just the two 'normal' screens or is my dash just not set up correctly? maybe the other screens have been switched off within the settings?

Is old problem - turn lights on b4 ignition sometimes helps also turning lights on stepwise
off
click parking lights
pause
click driving lights sometimes helps
mostly the dim form is enough to see the dials and the digital pod is not affected by this problem (at least at my car...)
Or get rid of the xenos (some people say wit proper H7 - like Philips X-Treme Power is almost as good as at least aftermarket HIDs try powerbulbs.com if you are interested...

Too get rid of the xenon's does that mean I'll have to have new headlights all together? or is it just the xenon part that can be changed? I wouldn't mind getting rid of the xenon's hardly use the car at night anyway, maybe a thought.

I have HID's fitted to the dipped headlights on the Sag for 4 years now and had no problems at all. Fitted by the guys at Silverstone TVR

No new lights - reflectors will stay the same, bulbs are interchangeable, ballasts can go in the bin - you may need new cables as cables no go to ballasts and diferent ones from there to lighhts, but should not be more than a 30 min job (after you removed the wheels as this is what you need to do for a bulbchange....)
