Well guys i just traded in my Z4 3.0 for a Tamora which i get my hands on next week. Iv always been a fan of TVRs since i owned a Cerbra for a short while. In the past 2 years ive owned alot of performance cars but alway felt i wanted to go back to a TVR which says alot because the cars ive owned have included a Lotus elise 2 135r, lotus esprit V8 twin turbo, porsche boxster s, Evo 8 fq 340, Scooby sti, Skyline R33 Gtr running massive bhp, Honda S2000, BMW E46 M3 smg and the Z4. Even when i was driving these cars if i saw a TVR i used to feel a little jealous. The noise of the Cerbra used to make me shiver, the interia made me want to turn buttons just for the sake of it. Ive never driven one of the modern TVRs but im hoping its as good as the Cerebra. Anyway guys..any advice ect would be a massive plus for me. Cheers.Hunter

.Drive the thing as much as possible - they don't like to be left unused. Treat it with caution, and as Icraigmy has said warm it up properly before giving it the beanz.
And then, yes, enjoy. Don't be frightened to use the full rev range as they really sing at the upper levels. They will also happily potter around town all day, but they are made to be opened up. Get it out on the track if you can and stretch it's legs. But please don't kill it on there!
There is a good community on here, so any niggles or questions you may have it's worth posting on here. And get along to either a local TVRCC or PH meeting.
Oh, and post some pics when you get it!

If so, it used to belong to a friend of mine, Keith (who now has a Sagaris).
Keith had a bit of an "off" with the Tamora when he owned it (I don't know the circumstances), and when the car was repaired, it had the T350 nose job fitted.
It originally came from James Aggar and was a good reliable car. I don't believe it had an engine rebuild, but some appear not to need them anyway.
The Tamora was displayed at the NEC classic car show in October 2006.

Hope this is of some use to you Hunter. Have fun with her - the Tamora is a very underrated car. I upgraded to a Sagaris, but if I'm honest, I do miss the Tam.

Personally, I wouldn't be worried about the accident. I don't know where the car was repaired, but I do know it was a proper job. The insurance did pay out a fair bit of cash so I am suprised it did not appear on an HPI report 
Its a couple of years since I've seen the car, but I'd have a joly good look around the front end where the repair was to see if there is any evidence of fibreglass shrinkage now the resin has fully dryed out.
Just to reiterate, if the car has been looked after the last couple of years aswell as it would have been during Keiths ownership, I wouldn't be too worried about the bump. Most cars have a history of some kind. I'd rather know what that history was.

I'm guessing you have bought from a dealer? I would be unhappy the dealer has not disclosed that the car had previously been involved in a bump. I'll try and locate a couple of photos of the damage for you.

Thanks mate, im loving the kind of people that own these cars if you lot are anything to go by. Hope i fit in just as well....gona tell you something that will shock you....ive bought the car without even seeing it!!!! Im at work on an oil rig untill a week on tuesday.....Brave or stupid???? not sure which....but such is the pull of TVR for me. They do sort of have a habit of running away with the credit card. But for goodness sake play with it properly as it is before you start going down the route of engine/diff/gear box performance upgrades.
