T350 fuel 'cap'

Hi,

I have a T350 and the chrome ring around the fuel filler as fallen off somewhere along the way. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement and what I should stick it down with?

I'd already had it stuck back on by RG, but I guess not well enough.

I got a new one actually from Racing Green when I had mine resprayed recently, got new front and rear badges at the same time. Make sure you specify which type you have though; mine is the completely smooth one, they sent me the one that is screwed in place the first time.

I think they are all the screw on ones now, they kept falling off because the glue was rubbish so they changed the design to screw on ones.

Just make sure you get some stainless steel bolts to hold it on with, if yours doesn't already have the holes to screw into you will have to drill and tap.

Not sure how this fits the Sagaris but my t350 had the screw down type, as mentioned get some decent stanless screws and you won't have the problem again.

Mine is the old-skool stick on type - where do you have to drill and tap into? The brass surrounding the ball valve in the filler neck?

Yes into the brass, it's only very thin though, I can't remember the size of bolts I used but I got some stainless steel hex bolts that sit flush.
