I have started to notice when i clean my car the carpet gets a bit wet at the bottom corner hinge side of the door.
I have now replaced the door seals which has made the matter worse now both doors.
When you open the door the water is sitting in the groove in the gasket so i assume overflows into the car.
Should this gasket have drainage grooves my chim did?
If so how do you form them.
I guess the water runs down the door piller getting in behind the door mirror.

Cut the dimples out and stick the seal back in with impact adhesive. Do a search on 'tamora door leak' there is a pic of a T350 that shows this. I have now replaced the door seals which has made the matter worse now both doors.

This might actually explain the leaks in my car! 
I've had some bodywork done on the car and the door seals have been removed and re-fitted during this work but have just been randomly fitted now I look at it!
I've always wondered what the stuck down bits were for on the seals, to be honest I thought it was maybe someone slippling with the glue in the factory. I shall try moving the seals around now I can see where the two bits are supposed to go. Thanks for posting the photos!

If I possition my 'dimples' so they are as per the photo above (both along the bottom of the door) the join where the ends meet is now in between the two 'dimples' on the bottom of the door. Does this sound right? I can't remember where they were before but I do recall having one dimple near the door mirror in the past...
I washed the car on Sunday and still had some water in the passenger footwell but I didn't check it before hand so it might be old water.

Unfortunatly i have deleted my pictures but you don't need them just create a pair of dimples using superglue to act as drainage channels the water sits on the top groove and comes out of the dimples if you don't have these water will overflow into the car.
Maybe not the case on all cars but most will have these dimples.
