Bad fuel.

Always thought bad fuel was mostly in the mind, but I've just finished a full tank of Esso super plus, not sure whether the fuel had been sat there for a long time or whether it was just the fuel, but the car did not like it. Different exhaust note, not as loud or raspy, engine just felt flat, like i'd lost 50hp. Even added a mild octane booster to try and help but didn't make any difference.

Seems much happier after putting some fresh v-power in lastnight.

Yeh, put Total excellium in today started to get the EFI code 4 and she was banging and popping more than usual, black soot in the tail pipes too. Guess it's back to V-power then...
