Main Beam lights problem

Help needed guys,

I have had an intermittent problem with the LEDs around the dials over the last few months being that when the main beams (dipped) lights are on sometimes the LEDs go dimmer and can flash between the two settings. At first there was no problem with the lights themselves but tonight when i pulled onto the drive the LEDs went dim and also the main beams when off. The side lights stayed on and the LEDs stayed on the dimmed setting and display screens are all fine.
At the moment i can not get them back on. Feels like a faulty connection somewhere but not sure.
No xenon conversion done.

Started working again today. how strange !?!

Not strange at all. TVRs often fix themselves :-)

Of course the problem may come back so keep investigating as it will come back when the most inconvenient.

Could be worth checking your various earth connections,a poor earth can produce some weird effects.

She heals ! impressive. I know what you mean when you say inconvenient. Waiting for a guru to arrive and tell me what to do.

I had a very similar problem about 12m ago and finally got it resolved byt TrackVRoad diagnosing the dash ECU with a number of dry joints on the circuit board. A few days with Kath in Blackpool and a soldering iron, and all has been fine since.

Check the earth first though as thats an easy fix.
