Tam Roof Panel problem

Hi all,

It's a minor problem but it's annoying the hell out of me. The metal channel that holds the rubber seal on the driver's side of the roof panel has come slightly adrift from the panel itself at the leading edge. It's only come away from the panel over the first 5 or 6 cms of its length but it means that the driver's window is now fouling on the rubber seal as it closes. Before I start trying to sort it, has anyone any advice on how best to re-fix the metal channel to the panel so it doesn't come away again?

It might just be a screw loose. Peal the rubber away and have a look. There are holes in the metal channel so try to fit about a 10mm long M3 (ish) self tapper in.

If the screw just spins in the void you will have to pump some filler in. Leave it overnight to set then screw into that.
