Tamora Front Wing

I had started to think my Tam has had a new front end , I bought it privately and did the standard checks for accident damage but got too exited and bought the second car looked at . Despite giving the car a really careful look-over when I was buying it a few weeks later under artificial light in the garage I noticed a seem over the wing above the front wheels , I assumed this was a repair joint but spotted a Tam last night at the Ashby Fovile meet and it had the same seem if you look very closely for it . So does anybody know if this is a manufacturing seem or have both cars had new front ends ?

Probably a manufacturing seam. Not unusual.

Early cars are more prone to this, some were rectified on the warranty at the time, mine is almost invisible, it takes a good eyes to spot the seam

Maybe, but later cars still suffer.

Thanks , if its just a manufacturing issue i wont worry that i didn't spot it when buying the car . Car still looks stunning anyway .

Does it say TVR on the front?

its pretty much as all habe said. You can spot the seam if you look carefully.

When the GRP gets very hot on sunny days it expands and shows the seams over both wings and you may see them also down the rear of the car as well.They are joint lines from the body molds which are undercut then filled before the paint goes on so don't worry about it, some colours show it more than others.
