Who knows this T350?

Hi,

I am interested in buying a T350 and now one is up for sale close to my home in the Netherlands.

I called the company and they said there is no service history with it. Neither do they supply a warranty.

Doesn't sound very good. Do one of you perhaps know a grey metallic t350c 29k miles 07-2003? Apparantly sold to Target Cars in Holland.

Was listed on PH for a couple of hours, then the ad disappeared:

Ad can't decide whether it's a 3.6 or 4.0...Stereo has been unceremoniously ripped out....no mention of service history or warranty. I'd be cautious about all these things BUT - missing the top to the screenwash bottle? I'd run away fast

Sorry, unless the original owner comes forward and explains the story, I don't think you'll find anyone here endorsing this one

I was actually hoping that the original owner would read this. I know chances are small, but where better to look than here

I am going to look at the car tomorrow just out of interest; it's closeby and it is only the 2nd T350 that has been on sale in a year within a 200 mile radius. But if nobody here knows anything about it I am for sure not going to buy it. Smells fishy.

Leave all money/chequebook/credit cards at home just in case

Hahaha thanks for the tip! I will control myself tomorrow and travel to the UK to buy a decent T350!

Absolutely - it was a sensible plan. And it's not fish - it's a highly complex weapons grade synthetic amalgam of - glue. And all of ours smell of it

If you do come over to buy (and I'd advise it - several have), Racing Green may be top money, but also top cars...

As said, I went over to look at the car Target are selling just to have a glance and it was as expected of a car without warranty and history.

• stonechips
• 6inch scratch at the front, accompanied by tens of smaller scratches
• left rear window glued back in place very clumsily, you could basically see the glue onder the black edge of the glass.
• rear logo damaged
• 3 inch black scratches/swipes on the beige of the interior. I know beige draws scratches but in this car there hadn't even been an effort to make them less prominent.
• lid of wiper fluid missing
• loose cables hanging from under the steering column dangling at your knees
• bonnet does not lock anymore. was permanently openable
• 3 wheels kerbed

I didn't bother driving it, but I wouldn't be surprised if there were more flaws waiting to be discovered. It made me a bit sad to see such a beautiful car in a shape like this. If any other mainland European is reading this: Don't bother going there.

From your description this sounds like a liability. Just imagine if the same car has been taken of the mechanics.

Best spend the same amount or a little more on a cherished car, probably owned by a Pistonheader or TVRCC member.
