Finding the best Tamora service in Surrey / Hampshire

Just moved to the area and am trying to find a good dealer / specialist for my Tamora. Any suggestions or preferences welcome, as well as anyone to stay away from

If u want main dealer TLC then Racing Green is your gig
If u wanna support the INDIE's then you have 'The Garage'
at Compton near Guildford, I use and is very good.
OR you have APM Automotive who I have used with no problems.

I've always had excellent service for my Tuscan from Fernhurst, near Haslemere.

Apart from the fact that there isn't really any such thing as a main dealer any more then those are pretty good recommendations.

The main problems with the Indies is parking and courtesy cars. I stopped using The Garage when Dave put his prices way up and also lost a lot of his off-forecourt parking. Using Racing Green then became financially viable plus they have a locked compound that customer cars are kept in and they are happy to keep the car for an entire week (drop off one Saturday, pick up the next) that Dave was simply unable to do once he lost a lot of his parking. Which was always on the road anyway so not very secure.

Also, due to divorcing, I'm now on my own so the use of a courtesy car is now very important to me. Plus I live quite close to Racing Green.

However, I have heard very good things about APM and, as I said, have direct experience with Dave at The Garage who is a top chap and knows his stuff. Especially the RV8 cars.

So really you need to ask yourself what you require and also find out their relative costs, locations, etc. I don't think you'll go far wrong with any of them to be honest.

You also have TVR Fix if you're in the Kingston/Epsom area and Austec and TH Works in the Crawley/Horsham area. Austec and TVR Fix are open Saturdays (until lunch time) and hence viable for the one week drop off/collect, not sure about TH Works.

I dont have a TVR but am on the look out for the right one, and dropped into 'the garage' near godalming, and have to say he is a VERY genuine bloke and really knows his stuff. Made me feel very welcome and didn't turn his nose up at some of my incompetant questions, like certain other dealers in the area. When I get my Trevor, I'll be using him for all my service/repair work.

Another vote for Andy and APM here, he's a wizz, especially with THe AJP8 and S6 engined cars (hence your Tamora)
I have used Fernhurst before and was always happy wuth them and would agree with the "dealer excess" - you pay more, get a courtesy car, a car wash and a coffe whilst u wait - but ow the smaller ones will give you excellent service - Andy does all the bolts himself, and now learner driver trainee mechanic will cane you cold P and J around the enclosed car park...
Racing green is well regarded by the guys who had there FFF upgrade done, so may interesting if/once you need engine work....
