TRACKDAY SILENCERS FOR SAGARIS DE CAT
Discussion
Hi there,
This year at the continental meeting in Zolder (Belgium), 2 english sagaris were fitted with track silencers that made there car really quite. A few weeks ago a pair of these silencers was for sale on PH classified.
Can someone tell me the trademark and model of these silencers, who deals it, or if someone has a pair for sale?
I am looking for that to register my sagaris in France, the noise limit has to be 77dB!!!
Thanks a lot and sorry if i write some english mistakes, i am just a french frog!

Hello
Getting down to 77db is unlikely to be achieved. A Sagaris with quiet cans is going to be about 85-95 db.
You can buy them from www.actproducts.co.uk/

Hi, the exhausts that were for sale were mine, there are three of us that had them at Zolder.
Al three of us have decats and all three of us had the same cans made by Tim at ACT. He does not have a part number, just give him a call and tell him you want the same cans that Paul Black had.
They will take your car down to 95DB's.

2 Scottish and 1 English Sags!!! Silencers came from Tim at ACT. Cost about £400. Yes they do quieten the car significantly but I still got black flagged on the fastest lap at 95.7dB drive by (just before back straight)This year at the continental meeting in Zolder (Belgium), 2 english sagaris were fitted with track silencers that made there car really quite.

Sorry to hi-jack thread but can you get these for an exhaust with a rolled end. I have a red rose exhaust and the web site said you cannot get silenzers for round pipes with rolled end...
The pipes from ACT are direct replacements for the tail pipes, be it Sag or Tuscan. They do not attached to your existing silencers. I'll post a pic if I can find one......hairyaardvark said:
This post is superb timing - I'm looking for these myself!
How easy are they to fit yourself? (and any special kit required?)
thanks!

10mins to swap as long as the cans are cold! How easy are they to fit yourself? (and any special kit required?)

Another angle.

They are great on a 4.0S with little restriction on performance.
Tim at ACT has some others he is working on, for the 4.3 as it needs to breath more.

Does anyone have a pair of these either for sale or a (paid for) loan please?
The reason being I've got a final track day of the year (before hospital and surgery) at Brands, mid August, and instead of their normal db levels, I've been told they are 98, and I'd love a final drive in the Sag.
Cheers!
