Wondered what the PH TVR fountain of knowledge could tell me?

Looks pricey for a cat D but has had a ton of work done and a rebuild. What's the general consensus of residuals on a catD TVR?

If you are seriously considering this car then I strongly suggest finding out exactly how much damage there was - pictures would be ideal of course. Someone's insurer wrote off a £20k+ car as the cheaper option, so it wasn't just a small bit of damage.

If I were the owner I would fix the remaining niggles too (roof lining, seat split).

I was about to comment on that. If the glovebox doesn't shut, that means the whole chassis has twisted doesn't it?

Im Ryan at SP AUTOMOTIVE selling this car.

The car isn't definately sold yet until this german chap has paid me. I wouldn't say he is messing me about, but he is dragging his heals a little so the car is still up for sale at the moment!

Agree here, a vehicle with previous damage wether it be recorded or not should have the damage documented in written form at least. Pictures speak a thousand words.
I personally record everything photographically before, during and after.

Not true in the slightest, the insurance assessor has to evaluate many variables. I have had 30k+ vehicles written off for paint or very minor panel damage. This was no indication that the vehicle needed 30k spending to rectify it.
Obviously there are good and bad damaged vehicles, thus the point being made regarding the photographic evidence.
I for one wouldnt entertain a vehicle with structural damage but that is just me.

Now the proud owner of said T350 and have to say for those who haven't seen the car at various shows you won't fully understand the work that has gone into this one off. Attention to detail and finish is of a quality the factory could only really dream of. As ever Torque TVR have done an equally superb job of setting the car up, just a matter of picking it up next week

Anyhow, then its off to Martrim for a full internal re-fit to match the excellent exterior then its out to enjoy all those ponies.

Talking point to gain reaction - just about to order some of those lovely 5 spokes and garage the black rims as they aren't to my taste.

Congratulations! I'm sure you are going to enjoy it, what colour interior are you having? I agree with the spiders, if there not buckled now it doesn't take long to buckle them.

Jury's out on the colour theme, quite like the light tan but need to add some white in there. Guys at Martrim have a couple of options in mind, mainly in the seating and carpeting areas and bit of dash detail. Not planning anything to radical, more refresh than re-invent.
