Christ that was quick!!!!

I was indeed the first owner, bought it brand new from Peninsula in 2005. Glad to see it's gone to another enthusiast. If you've got any questions just shout. smile

The second owner Ropey is also on here and we have spoken lots. Myself and David (the 3rd owner) had a long chat when he bought the car from Ropey (IIRC via Racing Green on SOR), so as far as I know all the owners have been in touch over the years etc.

In case you are interested here she is on delivery day (Aug 2005) waiting to go off to the PDI workshop!

Back patting all round.

How could you ever sell her? Don't think I will!

Will PM you with a few questions soon.

Thought I'd join in this thread too...

As Kevin has already mentioned, I was the 2nd owner of her. Had her for about 2 years. First 6 months to a year was quite traumatic - back and forth to the dealer constantly followed by a ridiculous service, but i put that down to lack of use by Kevin and then a period of time of no use at the dealership. After that she settled down, and all was good - but she was too raw for living in West London and the driving I was doing (mainly round town) - and being my only car.

We did have some amazing trips though - down to Germany for a weekend, and through France to Switzerland one Xmas. Glad to see she's still looking as fine as she always did. She had a front end respray just before I sold her - i picked up a fair amount of stone chips with the milage I did.

I'm also the one responsible for the sports exhaust and the iPod Stereo.

Any questions, please email me.

I hope you enjoy her. An amazing car - am quite jealous now that i've seen her again!

Alistair - just checked your profile - where abouts in Cornwall are you? My (soon to be) in-laws are down there (Falmouth and Truro) - so the T350 did many a trip down there in my 2 years with her. Next time I'm down, I might have to call on you, and get you to take me out in her!!

I'm actually in Falmouth. You are more than welcome to pop by and go for a spin. Would be good to have a chat.

Love the sports exhaust...... Not sure the neighbours are so keen though!!!! Never mind.

Cheers

Hi Alistair,

Sorry, I was away working in the US when I last wrote - and I completely forgot to check for a reply!

My father-in-law lives in Mawnan Smith - so very near indeed. What a small world! Your T350t knows that area well! wink

We'll be down lots between now and April 2010 as we are getting married in Mawnan Smith then (my fiancee grew up there). Next time is the beginning of October I think.

Will give you a shout when I know a more specific date - although this might be an unwise move on my part; am currently driving a somewhat more sensible Mini Cooper S at the mo, and seeing the TVR again might be a step too far! Have promised myself something more exciting when when the wedding is done and dusted!

Hi Ropey,

Unfortunately I am working away for October. Get back on the 31st. Will not be going anywhere after that so the next time you are around no problem.

Good luck with the wedding plans!

Cheers Al - probably a good thing this time, we're likely to be a little hectic with stuff for the wedding.

Out of interest, where was the photo taken above (and on your profile)? My fiancée and I were trying to work it out last night, but had to give up!

Ropey

On the quay in Newlyn. Out for a spin and stopped off to see a mate who is a fisherman.

Thought it made a nice shot.

Heart warming to read how these cars 'stay in the family', have easily traced my 350 back to it's first owner and it's ownership history (service history only tells half the story) until I picked it up from it last owner. Each one happy to share detail and the list of TVRism they have enjoyed.

How many other brands have this pride of ownership, even after a car is long gone?
