Whilst cleaning the inside of my windscreen today I managed to snap my mirror off, breaking one of the plastic sliders that slots into the part stuck on the screen. Very annoying as it is a tiny part and easy to disassemble but very doubtful it's available to buy on its own. Therefore as I may need a complete mirror does anyone know which car TVR nabbed the part from originally? I need to ensure its the same so I can slot it back onto the holder still on the screen.
Thanks in advance.

Quick reply to add I think it's a Pug 205. For anyone else who may break one (common I believe) the part you need is available on fleabay - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&am...

Mine arrived really quickly! One tip - the sides are a little higher than the piece on mine so you may need to trim them down a little with a stanley knife. Easy job though and you'll see what I mean when it arrives.

Tried that with Araldite and no cigar, those sliders are under some reasonable strain after you have manouvered the mirror around the header rail and onto the metal bracket.

Got it this morning and 2 minutes with a stanley knife later we had a result.

This thread helped me finding a replacement for this bracket after the glass fitters broke it removing the mirror from the old windscreen.
For future reference the Peugeot part number is 814995 (also written as 8149.95).
The counterpart stuck to the screen has p/n 814954.

The mirror itself has p/n 814842 and is an alternative part number for TVR U0289.
Used on Pug 205,309, 206 and TVR Griffith onwards up to Sagaris.
