Had the T350 for 4 weeks now and absolutely loving it...the only part of the car I would change are the seats...terrible..they are comfy enough and look great but under hard cornering they and just shocking...don't hold you in place and me being small just throw me from side to side...Not good for making fast progress. Not gone on track yet but would imagine not ideal.

So apart from eating more pies are there any more options. I notice that some Sags have a different style seat..are these better and if so will they fit a T350..

Remember reading the reviews of the T350 and most saying seats did not hold you in place and thought they can not be that bad....but for me they are....All depends on your build I suppose, but being small doesn't help.

As far as I know I am the only one who has fitted Lotus Exige/Elise Probax seats in my TVR. They are comfortable, not difficult to get in and out, half the weight of the originals and offer superb support. I cant fault the seat when driving on the absolute limit on track. Many people have sat in the car at meets and said "oh, yeah, these really work!"

Not very good lighting in the pictures....

The seats mount onto two aluminium box section tubes bonded in with glass fibre. Not difficult.

Mine are Imola seats, supplied with special subframes & a reduced front corner before leather-covering to fit between transmission tunnel & the t350's rollcage. All in with matched leather, logo etc was £700 each two years ago. Cobra seats ltd, Telford. You could use simple harness bar.

Exige seats..never thought of that..had a number of Elise and Exige and the seats are great.

Just another thought...you can get bolsters for seats but could a good re-trimmer bolster the side of the seats to give better hold?

How do they work with the standard seats?

Was thinking that after reading the other thread about harness bars...harness not fitting standard seats.

Wonder if a good seat trimmer could put harness holes in the original seats...Certainly enough room in the head reat area.

I looked at that first, but didn't seem likely could be put in the right place, can't remember exactly why. For anyone that hasn't tried both, if you're aim is to be held firmly but comfortably while on cornering limit, a seat that wraps around your shoulders is much more comfortable and effective than just a harness.

But then it should be for the extra £££, which may be OTT for the odd bit of fun on a roundabout or even a track driving
