in the past 36 hours i have drove the Tamora from Nottingham to glasgow, then from glasgow to liverpool and then back to nottingham....she never missed a beat...A roads..City centre traffic jams and fast motorways and more traffic jams. Coped with it all. Was comfortable and not too bad on fuel.....oh but my poor ears!!!!!

I did derby-edinburgh a couple of months ago and same no problems but mine was a long weekend so got my hearing back and mine is louder than the average tiv

I use mine mostly for long trips, hence the standard exhaust. It is loud enough for me.

Any chance you could take a video of your car ticking over, blipping the throttle or a drive by if possible?

I have the power pipes and am very tempted to go for the decats and the power decat chip, but I'm a little concerned it will be too loud.

Here are two links to copy and paste mate. Its the previous owners work so i cant take credit. To be honest mate the car is much louder in real life. Where are you based? im only to happy to let you hear them for yourself.

I'm in the Lake District.

Suppose the real test would be to experience the inside noise at cruising speeds.
Either that or i just bite the bullet and go for it.

Did Melbourne to Sydney in 9 hrs back in March when I delivered my T350 to its new owner. Sad day but a great drive.

i bet that was awsome, i diddnt even know they had tivs down there. My cousin is doing alot with holden racing cars in OZ just now. Hes quite well known i think.

Denia, Costa Blanca, to Montpellier and back. Bit warm at times, but Sag bliss to drive. Same on drive down from Newcastle to Costa Blanca via Bayonne/Pamplona/Zaragosa/Valencia: main roads brilliant, any roads in town had to treat with care.

S6 engines rock, heading to 50K.

There are a few Tiv's here. All Cerbera's and S6 cars are personal imports. I brought my T350 when I emigrated in 2005. It was possible to buy them new in Oz until the mid 90's. Is your cousin racing V8's? I don't know much about that series except that they were trying hard at the GP a couple of years back, quite entertaining.

I suspect most PHers will have heard of him.

My girlfriend had a 318i a few years back. The plate was Pnnn TWR. A mate and I saw it and said "that wil be easy to remember", of course she had no idea.
