How to unlatch t350 bonnet

Just purchased a t350, I didn't see how the previous owner unlatched the bonnet.

I've pulled the metal lever on the underside of the steering column which seems to have released the bonnet catch however I cant lift the bonnet open.

Should just lifting the lever allow the bonnet to open?

Help is much appreciated.

While pulling the lever just lift the trailing edge of the bonnet - simples.

On mine I pull the lever down and leave it in the down position then lift the bonnet. Then when closing I put the bonnet back down and put the lever back up...Not sure if this is right but it works for me.

Which T350 did you buy mate? Pics!!

Many T cars need a two handed approach to opening the bonnet - one tugging the lever (gently) and the other tugging the bonnet upwards.

Cheers Targarama, I must get longer arms, but it was the 2 handed operation that I needed.
